Two things. It remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme, and it lets the venue map load from Google on event and venue pages. Google Analytics counts visits and shows us which pages people use and where they give up. Turning these off means your visits are not counted.

Google Ads records that an advert brought you here so a booking can be credited to it, and lets us show you our events elsewhere. Turning these off means you still see ads, just less relevant ones.
