Islamic Cultural Tour

Learn more about Islam and its significance in Qatari culture by visiting two iconic buildings in Doha. First, you will be taken to Fanar or Qatar Islamic Culture Centre and Spiral Mosque. The latter is a cultural organization and its most distinguishing feature is its mosque which has a unique minaret design. The spiral shape was built by ancient Sumeria6ns in Iraq and was reflected in the Al Fanar architectural design. The second building the Qatar Foundation Mosque which rests on five large columns representing the five pillars of Islam, with each featuring a verse drawn from the Holy Qur’an, in addition to its unique design.

Inclusions: Pick-up and drop off from your location in Doha, air-conditioned transportation, bottled water, and an English-speaking guide. Other language guides are chargeable extra.

Tour Highlights: Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center or Al Qubaib Mosque, Qatar Foundation Mosque or Blue Mosque. 

Restrictions: Sudden closure of sites. 

Dress Code: Please wear clothes that cover your knees and elbows.
